Mental Health First Aid

Standard Mental Health First Aid (SMHFA) is a two-day training program that equips individuals with the skills to assist someone experiencing a mental health issue or crisis. It teaches recognition, understanding, and support strategies, fostering a community and organisation adept at promoting mental well-being and timely professional intervention.

At the Cognitive Consultancy Company, we believe that a mentally healthy workplace is a thriving workplace.

Our programs are designed to support you, your staff and loved ones in navigating the psychological and emotional toll of the pandemic amongst the general difficulties we face within the workplace and beyond.

Within these programs, we also aim to address presentations such as anxiety, low-mood, loneliness and increased levels of stress. We employ evidence-based strategies to bolster personal resilience, improve stress management skills and provide psycho-education surrounding wellbeing. The objectives of the programs also aim to foster improved communication, collaboration and empathy.
